Welcome to our website, and thank you for exploring our designs. We've been busy updating things since our move and are thrilled to have you along for the journey. Our story, much like that of many small businesses, began with a simple idea and a joyful hobby. Oddly Brewed has undergone various phases (as every young brand does), but one thing that has remained consistent through every design and aesthetic is our deep-rooted coastal inspiration. From the very beginning, we've been committed to being an environmentally conscious brand, ensuring that our materials are sourced exclusively from small businesses. Among our favorites are unique upcycled and rescued materials.
As we ventured into 2020, Oddly Brewed transformed from a small dream into a tangible reality. But before I dive further into that, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Haley Tek, the creator behind Oddly Brewed. I wear several hats – Beach Cleanup Lead at my local national park, environmentalist, student, business owner, and artist. My love for crafting with various mediums led me to merge my passion for fashion with my daily drive to create something extraordinary out of the ordinary. The coastal jewelry featured on this website is a result of meticulous intention and attention to detail. Embracing a carefree attitude toward life while soaking in the beach vibes is the essence I aim to capture in all my designs.
At Oddly Brewed, we hold values of honesty, integrity, and just being all-around good souls. That's why we're dedicated to responsibly sourcing our materials, employing lightweight and reusable packaging, and crafting products that are either made-to-order or produced in small batches. Each piece is handcrafted with the same level of dedication and quality that we would put into making our personal jewelry. Our collection reflects a slice of the coastal vibe right here in New Jersey. The vibrant glass beads are artfully combined to evoke the lights of boardwalk arcades, while freshwater pearls and sea shell pendants bring a piece of the ocean wherever you go. Yes, you read that right – our sea shells are individually handpicked from our shores and carefully drilled to become unique pendants. Every jewelry item is meticulously crafted in our private studio in New Jersey. As of January 2024, we have added Organic soy candles to our handcrafted line of products.
